Dr. Chauhan was born on a farm in India and raised among the animals under one roof, and that is what inspired him to be an animal caretaker.

He graduated with distinction from Gugarat Veterinary College, Anand-Gugarat-State in 1969. He then joined the faculty in the department of Microbiology as a research associate. After earning his Masters degree in Veterinary Microbilology from Prestigious Indian Vet-Research Institute in 1973 he continued with the Veterinary school, in a different capacity, as a lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Principal of the Animal Health Tech School.

He immigrated to the United States in October of 1979 and worked as a Veterinary Technician before recieving his D.V.M. license in 1983. After a brief period of work in the Los Angeles area, he bought the Animal Care Vet Clinic in the San Bernardino area in 1984. In 22 years he built up a very sucessful large facility. After many years of dedicated work, he decided to slow down and sold the practice in 2006. He continued working part-time in the same location until 2009.

Because work is one of his passions, he decided to go back into full time practice. Thus East Valley Pet Hospital was born in August 2009. Following a long held vision he created a most idealistic place for pets and their owners in his new location.


Apart from his work, Dr Chauhan loves traveling, family and social activities, along with charitible work being among his favorite activites. Dr. Chauhan has two daughters, and three grandkids, the oldest one is attending college.


Moustafa Seoud is a native of Cairo, Egypt. He graduated from the University of Cairo in Veterinary Medicine. He practiced in Egypt then moved to the United States to live and further his medical career.

Dr. SeoudHe became a United States citizen in 1983. He attained his California Veterinary license in 1989 and worked primarily in Fairfax/ West Hollywood for 20 years. In the late 1990's he studied with William Inman, D.V.M. and became a licensed veterinary chiropractitioner (C.V.C.P)

He had an interest in eastern philosophy since he was 18 years old. He studied and participated in martial arts in both Egypt and the U.S.A., becoming a black belt in both judo and karate. Through the influence of a karate master he extended his healing capabilities to become a licensed Veterinary accupuncturist, (C.V.A. in 2000) with the International Veterinary Accupuncture Society (I.V.A.S.) interning with John Limehouse, D.V.M.

Dr. Seoud uses traditional Veterinary Medicine and surgery (western medicine), Veterinary chiropractics and eastern medicine & alternative health modalities such as accupuncture, herbs, homeopathy, homotoxocology as his full spectrum of healing possibilities. His love of nature, the California mountains and surrounding communities brought him to Redlands and to East Valley Pet Hospital.


Dr. Rana joined East Valley Pet Hospital in June 2012. He is an enthusiastic professional who is dedicated to quality care for all animals. He has been in the field of Veterinary Medicine for over 20 years. Born and raised in India, he has had strong association with farm and companion animals since he was a child.

Dr. Rana graduated in veterinary sciences from Punjab Agricultural University, India and did his Post graduate Diploma in Embryo Transfer technology from IVRI India. He has been practicing veterinary medicine in the States since 2007 and most of his experience is related to soft tissue surgeries and Emergency and critical care medicine.

Dr. Rana is closely associated with various Veterinary Associations such as being a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, California Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Rana regularly undergoes continuing education to keep up to date with the rapid technological advancements like stem cell technology, regenerative medicine, ultrasound and endoscopic procedures in the veterinary medical profession. Because of this, he is able to provide sound medical care to your beloved companions.

Aside from veterinary medicine, Dr. Rana enjoys hiking, camping, travel and spending time with his family including 2 Australian Shephards.
