Dr. Troxel grew up in Riverside California. From a young age, she always had a strong bond and passion to help animals. This led her to get her education in the veterinary field. She received her BS in biochemistry in 1999, and MS in 2000 from UC Riverside. She graduated in 2004 from Kansas State University in 2004, with her DVM degree. She lives with her 2 rescue dogs, Hans, and Lady Girl. When she's not at work, she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews. Her hobbies include going to musicals, roller skating, and watersports. She hopes to one day, live on Catalina Island.
